Non-governmental organisation «D.O.M.48.24»

«D.O.M. 48.24» non-for-profit organization was founded in 2015 in Ivano-Frankivsk by internally displaced persons to promote the integration of IDPs and for community development.

Since 2018, the focus of the organization has shifted more to the protection of women's rights, and today the organization is the only non-profit in Ivano-Frankivsk that conducts systemic work in domestic and gender-based violence field, spotlights the issue of gender equality in Ivano-Frankivsk, and supports the women's movement in the region.

Key activities:

  • implementation of projects dedicated to combating violence and promoting road safety in close cooperation with the police and Community Consultative Groups;
  • opening of the first in the city Crisis Room and support in organizing the first municipal shelter in the city;
  • opening social enterprises: AT HOME social space, social laundry and beauty coworking to help women improve their economic capacity;
  • organization and operation of a day crisis center, where you can seek advice from a social worker, psychologists, and lawyers;
  • organization of an annual large-scale event Women's Stories Forum, highlighting the issues of women's leadership, gender equality, and domestic and gender-based violence;
  • release of podcasts #Strong, shooting documentaries, and creating other cultural products.

Since 2022, the organization has been again actively engaged in the support of IDPs as part of our strategy to protect women's rights.

Mission: support people and strengthen communities and partnerships by promoting agency and equality guided by feminist principles.
