Association of Psychologists and Psychoanalysts «INTERACTION»
Zaporizhzhia regional non-profit organization «Association of Psychologists and Psychoanalysts «INTERACTION» was founded and registered on November 5, 2004.
The organization comprises professional psychologists of different schools and specialization. Since 2004, the organization has implemented dozens of projects related to awareness raising about conscious marriage and parenthood at the request of the Family, Youth and Sports Department; among them were socio-psychological studies and conferences.
INTERACTION has been in partnership with local job search centers and conducted various training programs since 2006. In 2009, it entered into a cooperation agreement with the International Organization for Migration (IOM Ukraine).
In order to prevent family violence and human trafficking, the organization regularly conducts awareness raising activities, including design and dissemination of information leaflets, cooperates with the media, and updates the directory of organizations and agencies in the city of Zaporizhzhia for the community members to access relevant services.
Together with the Zaporizhzhia Regional Center for Social and Psychological Assistance, INTERACTION annually conducts events dedicated to the International Day of Peace and 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence to prevent domestic violence and combat human trafficking. About 500 people take part in these events each year.
