Charitable Organization Voznesensk Community Foundation
Charitable organization Voznesensk Community Foundation has been successfully working on various projects for the past eleven years. Since 2011, the foundation has been applying the model of the community foundation. During its work, the Foundation fundraised more than UAH 6 millions of local financial resources, conducted 9 grant contests using local resources, supported 126 public initiatives, having more than 5,000 people as donors of the Foundation, and
10,000+ residents taking part in events, including charitable ones, for some 7,300 children aged 1 to 18 years as beneficiaries. The partners of the Foundation include 54 business organizations.
The mission of the Foundation is to create opportunities for active local members to implement their initiatives making impact in the community.
Areas of activity:
- Mobilization of local residents and building capacity of civic initiatives;
- Development of philanthropy and volunteering in communities;
- Expansion and protection of women’s rights, promotion of gender equality;
- Development of youth leadership;
- Strengthening public participation in decision-making processes at different levels;
- Strengthening the organizational capacity of the Foundation.
