Pitbull Kyiv movement
The Pitbull Kyiv movement, together with the Patrol Police of Ukraine, regularly conducts raids to identify drunk drivers.
How does the initiative work?
Everyone who wants to join the raid comes on the chosen day in a predetermined place. Most raids take place on the night of Friday to Saturday or Saturday to Sunday. Before leaving, Patrol Police officers and organizers conduct a briefing. Then the participants of the raid go to assigned duty stations — the nightclubs throughout the city. If activists see that drunk people are going to drive, they immediately inform the Patrol Police and follow the drivers until police come. The raid members do not detain drunk drivers, but act as witnesses when the ticket is issued or present in court.
