Human Trafficking

Cooperation between the police and the community in combating human trafficking primarily aims at identifying victims of such crimes, investigating and providing survivors with the required support. The second objective of cooperation is prevention, particularly, awareness of safety rules at work, during tourist activities, or migration.

This section contains examples of large-scale activities, awareness-raising events, and exercises for safety training. It also describes joint activities of the police and non-profit organizations intending to identify victims of human trafficking and offers protocols of interagency cooperation when providing support.
