Community policing in the Law of Ukraine on the National Police

The requirement to apply community policing principles is enshrined in the Law on the National Police of Ukraine; hence, it is an integral part of the police service in Ukraine. This post overviews all relevant articles from the Law that inform community policing activities in Ukraine, in particular the engagement of the community and local authorities in joint projects with the police.
