School of Safety and Survival of Children «TIVER»
«School of Safety and Survival of Children «TIVER» is the first and only center in Ukraine dedicated to youth safety.
TIVER was founded to promote the consolidation of civic efforts to address safety issues among children, adolescents, children with special needs (children with disabilities), socially disadvantaged and vulnerable groups of society affected by harmful and dangerous factors of natural, man-made, socio-economic, criminogenic, biomedical, and military nature.
Main areas of work:
- Teaching children and young people the basics of premedical aid and the steps to be taken in emergencies
- Youth development and increased youth participation.
Since 2016, the organisation has implemented over 300 safety projects in various parts of Ukraine.
TIVER was awarded the Prize of the Parliament of Ukraine for the contribution of young people to the development of parliamentarism and local self-governance.
