Center for Support of Civic Initiatives «Chaika»
Center for Support of Civic Initiatives «Chaika» is a non-profit and non-governmental organization supporting vulnerable members of the community, especially women and young people, protecting, representing and lobbying their interests in society.
The main activities of Chaika Centre:
• support of reforms initiated by the citizens in Western Ukraine aimed promoting democratic society;
• awareness raising, promotion of modern education and entrepreneurship;
• implementation of women, youth and children support programs;
• mainstreaming of gender equality;
• provision of information, analytical, legal, psychological and training support;
• protection of legitimate social, economic, labor, environmental and other interests of members of the organization and citizens of Rivne region.
In addition, activities aimed to create a network of non-profits cooperating with representatives of government agencies, educational institutions, social services, law enforcement agencies to strengthen partnerships between civil society organizations, local governments, and business structures.
